Last night in town and we ordered a couple of pizzas. Delivery was under an hour and the driver was efficient. We asked for light cheese but they didn't seem light at all. The crust was tasty and cooked just right. Flavor of the pie made me want to eat more which is a good sign. The toppings were fresh. We did not go to the location but would recommend the pizza delivery in town.

We were told this is one of the best pizzas in Arkansas. AND THEY DELIVER! Yay! It was a rain day on a motorcycle trip, so delivery sounded wonderful... The online menu listed "topings" and "carnation bacon" so we were amused to say the least. But when we called in we were told they don't deliver before 4. (it was 2:15) so call back around 3:30 and they'd deliver at 4... we called at 3:30, we called again at 4:15, it was "on the way", we got our pizza around 4:45. We got the meat lovers and the toppings were great, but the pizza was extremely greasy, even the crust was greasy, the sauce ok, and we paid over 20 for late lunch... that came in time for dinner. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. Would it have been better had they delivered when they said? Yes, but even then... it wasn't that good for the price.

Don't know about daytime food but at night if you are looking for a fight, drugs or just trouble this is your place. We stayed an hour, changed tables twice. Wow, not what Eureka stands for. We hated it Would never recommend this to anyone.

Ordered a Large Cheese Pizza tonight for delivery. I ate 2 slices and put the rest in the fridge for later. It was pretty good, but the sauce was a little odd. I'm from NJ, and have had NJ/NY pizza all my life, so I was a bit unprepared for this style, but it was good! Delivery was quick, the driver was courteous, but the pizza was a tad pricey, although not really considering this town. Overall, I will order again, but request Light Sauce next time. They did give plenty of packets of Parmesan cheese though! Pizza wasn't bad the next day. I also have tried their Cheesesteak, now it's not an original Philly Cheesesteak (And I'd know), but it is easily the best cheesesteak I've had outside of the tri-state area (NY,NJ,PA).

Not much to look at and a limited menu, but they do have is very, very good. I recommend the pizza.

This place looks like a dive, and the first time I opened the door I didn't stay, but that was a mistake. The pizza and salads are excellent and very reasonable priced. Where can you find a quality salad for five buck? Here you can. But they only take cash, but I have to say it certainly is worth a trip to the bank to eat there.

Great bands and great pizza. A must go to if your in Eureka.
(4)Jenn C.
Had pepperoni pizza, it was very good. Stromboli way too greasy. Calzone very good, my bf has had NY calzone and he was very happy with his order. I would prob give more a 3.5 star

This is a fun place. Get ready to let your hair down. My family and I came here after my brothers wedding reception. We all were staying in eureka and was looking to start the night at a family friendly spot. We had a couple minors with us. This place was exactly what we were looking for. The service was pretty good and friendly. The food was pretty good too. Especially the pizza and bread knots. Once the night progressed we ended up outside the restaurant and inside the dancing hall. The bar tenders at the full bar were fun and really nice. (Still need to invest into some top shelf tequila, don Julio was my preference and wasn't there. ) but still accommodated. Wasn't a fan of the plastic cups for tequila shots, but at some point u just don't care. It was fun. The fam bam had a great time as well. And memories wer definitely made.

Nope! Not a great experience tonight. They accept cash only, had to pay to park and get in and the band was not good...hard to play pool on their only table b/c of tight corners and right in front of the staircase for the balcony people are frequently coming up and down...

Chelsea's is a must hit when in Eureka Springs. It's where all the locals go, and it's where you can see the greatest band's in the area. The pizza is pretty good, and the drinks are strong. You are always bound to run into someone you haven't seen in forever there. They also recently made the bar smoke free which I think is nice. The downside is there is usually a cover; they only accept cash at the bar, and the pizza can take an hour.

I wanted to hate this place and was already plotting my 2 star review (as I won't 1-star a place unless it's beyond terrible and/or a potential health hazard lying-in-wait). The hubs and I were in Eureka Springs for a friend's wedding; we got there later than had planned, and we missed dinner with the wedding crew; as such, we were starving and wanted not-McDonald's for dinner. So, we found Chelsea's after passing by every other place I wanted to try but not realizing that we had done so b/c it was dark and the roads were confusing (for a first timer in E-S, mind you). So, we walked upstairs and sat inside even though we watched another couple leave before getting food. "Oh god, food is going to take forever," I immediately thought, but we stayed and ordered two pizzas (the gyro and the cordon bleu, we were told they were out of chicken but went with it anyway) and an order of knots. Then those thoughts were confirmed as minutes passed and passed and passed, and our knots appetizer didn't come out for at least 30. The knots are okay; they're big, but I didn't like the excessive amount of herbs on them. And then we waited some more while listening to the staff bicker a bit and listening to some dude in the bar below cover only Zeppelin. Then after more minutes passed and passed and passed, our pizzas arrived. First, they were huge. Second, they managed to have chicken after all, so we got the cordon bleu as it was supposed to be. And let me tell you, both pizzas were delicious. I was only able to eat a piece of both, but they were totally worth it and still good a few days later after being reheated on my pizza stone. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and recommended it to the wedding crew the next day. So, Chelsea's, I'm sorry for almost two-starring you because you totally don't deserve that. Basically, this place is really good if you're willing to wait. And don't worry, dude who only plays Zeppelin may mix it up and play the Animals' House of the Rising Sun 'cuz that's what he was playing on our way out the door.

First time in Eureka Springs. We wanted to check out the local pizza joint. Called to get an idea of pricing & any specials. Whoever answered the phone was very impatient, short & rude. I would not recommend at all & didn't even get to try it out. We had a big party & would have spent a good amount of money.

Go here for a real eureka springs experience. I love this place, brings me back down to earth. Great food, almost always great music, fun people, so much character, pool, darts, stage... What more do you need?
(5)Christy D.
My spicy chicken gyro was not spicy and was dry. The chicken tasted like rubber. The tzatziki sauce was not tzatziki sauce. My husband ordered the beef gyro and it was tastier, but still mediocre. Our waitress was inordinately slow in bringing our food and check. We are from out of town otherwise we would have known this is a dive bar and only ordered beer.

I really wish I could rate this higher, because I enjoyed the food. The service was just awful, though! I don't know if this woman hated her job or just hated us, but she seemed absolutely miserable. And slow. Soooo slow. We sat upstairs, and they won't serve alcohol there. You can go down to the bar and buy it yourself, they just won't bring it to you. I also wish we had known up front that it was cash-only. Our Athens gluten free pizza was very yummy - a little burned around the edges, but still good. Just don't believe them when they tell you the gf dough makes a personal pizza size - there's definitely enough to share. We also shared a veggie platter that was awesome - pita bread (or in our case, corn chips), fresh veggies, spinach dip, AMAZING hummus, and pesto. It's also big enough to share all by itself. It looks like most people have had better experiences there, and the locals recommended it, so maybe we were just there on an off day.

My friends and I had dinner here on a Thursday night recently. The air was cool, but we decided to opt for patio/balcony seating anyway. We sat at a large table and had the entire balcony to ourselves (great for the inevitable people watching). We shared the hummus and pita, chicken nachos, and cordon bleu pizza. I would order every single thing again. My friends noted that the pita bread was the best they've ever had; it had the perfect crisp-to-soft ratio. The nachos were good and the salsa was excellent (I wish there had been more of that). And the pizza. So good. The pizza has a bleu cheese cream sauce and the ratio of bleu cheese to sauce was perfect- not overpowering, but definitely present. It did take awhile for our food to be served (especially the pizza), but we were having such a great time, we didn't mind, and it was totally worth the wait. Oh, I also love that they have several Abita beers available, but no Andygator yet.

This place is a great little dive bar with good beer and food delivered from the restaurant upstairs. Good nachos and pizza, and the hummus and artichoke dip was tasty. They quickly brought more pita when requested. The bartender was say it as it is kind of guy...not overly friendly initially but responded to a joke and service was quick. Overall, this is exactly the kind of place I want when looking for a watering hole.
(4)Jason B.
The service was just ok. Laid back, very informal environment. I eat a lot of pizza. I love it. But there are plenty of bad pizza places. This had the best pizza my wife and I have ever had! $16 for a 15" and 2 sodas
(4)Keli K.
I was fully prepared to not like this hole in the wall, and was surprised it was by the end of out Eureka Springs Vaca the best food we had. The gyros were amazing, the kids got nachos that were enormous and yummy, and service was also great!!

What in the world did Mr. C and I step into??? Everybody said this place was supposed to be good so we decided to go. However, it was anything but! 1st: The doorman did not tell us that in order to eat pizza there was a different entrance even though we said we were there to have the world class pie everyone was gaga about. So, they charged us $10 just to walk through the bar area. 2nd: The pizza was meh, way too cheesy. And they charged extra for tomato sauce. i think they purposefully don't put on enough sauce so that you buy it. I was not falling for those shenanigans. 3rd: TURN DOWN THE SPEAKERS! There was a live band playing that night and it was horrendously loud. We were in the restaurant part and any time the door opened, our ear drums were shattered. I don't know how to explain the atrocity of the volume other than it was throw up worthy. How do the locals frequent this place without going deaf. So. Where does that leave me? Anything nice to say? I think the only cool thing about the establishment is that it is super cool in design. You can tell that this place has probably always been a bar. It resembles an old western saloon, where you see the ladies of the night hanging over the railings out on the upper levels. I may need to do a little research as I am pretty certain the place used to indeed be a saloon. When we first walked in, we were eyed up and down by the local who hung out in the front entryway bar area. These was hillbilly folk all the way! The inner "saloon" area was full of picnic style wooden tables. I kid you not when I say that people were slamming their beer mugs on them and making a raucous! If these people had not been in modern clothing, I seriously would have thought I'd stepped onto the set of an Old Western Film. However, the campiness of this place does not make it a worthwhile place to go to. Sorry Chelsea's. One, you are not a Cafe! Two, you are a bar that has a pizza joint. Three, people like to be able to talk a little bit when at a bar, even those that have live bands. Food: Meh Service: Our server in the pizza place was nice, however, she did nothing to get us our $10 back that we wasted at the front door. Would I go back? Nope, and you shouldn't even try it!

Great pizza great service! My buddy Chris recommended we try and that we did without disappointment. Thanks guys!

My wife and I ate here on our anniversary trip. We just happened upon it at lunch time. We loved so much that we brought the whole family this time.

I would give 5 stars to the restaurant and 2 stars to the bar. I've eaten the pizza here many times, and its by far the best pizza I've ever had. The crust in thin and flaky and crispy, the sauce is perfect, and they dont skimp on cheese and ingredients. I can't find the words to describe how good they are. everything is wonderfully balanced and cooked to perfection. I really like the margherita pizza and anything made with an olive oil base. The pizzas are giant! You will not go home hungry. The bar is another story. I've had good and bad experiences here. Often there is live music (both really good and really bad.) Most of the time it is so loud I can't talk to the person sitting next to me (I guess thats just a bar thing though, but its still annoying.) They dont take credit cards, so you have to use an atm. They don't have any wine glasses, and the bartender didn't know how to open a wine bottle. He didn't take off the foil and destroyed the cork so there were pieces of cork floating in the wine. Then they ran out of wine (I guess I'm the only wine drinking patron they have.) Its still worth coming depending on what kind of night it is. The atmosphere can vary wildly.

We went to Chelsea's for drinks our first night in town; they had a great beer selection and live music. Plus it was just down the street from where we were staying! The next day we went back for lunch and had delicious garlic knots and pizza loaded with veggies! Just make sure you have cash! There is an atm downstairs, just in case. ;-)

So I came here after a wedding to attend an "after party" shall we say. And I do not regret it. I did feel a little weird walking in because it was a locals only kind of spot but we got quick service and the drinks were stiff. We found a table on a Friday night large enough for our big party and proceeded to DEVOUR their pizza and drink their $2 Miller High Life. The pizza was the most delicious thing I have ever had. And I FUCKING LOVE pizza. The crust was a perfect combination of crispy on the bottom of the topping and cheese part and tender and fluffy in the outside crust. For under $20 you got a huge pepperoni pizza. This is the kind of pizza that tastes great cold and in the morning after drinking the Champagne of Beers all night. I wish I could get this pizza shipped to me. Sigh. I miss it already.
(4)Christina M.
Got delivery one night and liked Chelsea's so much ordered delivery the next night. Amazing pizza, decently priced for the size of the pie. A must stop while in Eureka. Next time I'll go the restaurant and see what else they offer.

it was a very strange cast of characters i was very afraid to take my hand off my wallet as i went in everyone put down their beer and stared at me for what seemed to go on forever , as i went to the bar i asked for a cocktail , at this the whole bar jumped out of their seats with laughter , the bar tender quickly poured whiskey into a dixie cup and said heres your COCKTAIL sonny , i looked down at the fly in my drink and the bartender exclaimed "WHAT, need a umbrelly in that SISSY BOY" i picked out the fly and quickly took my drink ,paid and ran for the door as i made it to the exit i seen this mammoth headed character come through the door he shouted " HEY IM DYLAN" i shuddered , as i clenched my wallet with dear life he asked me where i was from at that moment something blocked the only light in the room , thats when i took haste , i heard alot of scrambling and many hands grabbing at me but i somehow found my way into what i assumed was a patio of some sort but there were more of them blocking my exit they exclaimed " Welcome to chelseas!" at this point i wasnt sure what i was dealing with , i quickly jumped off the patio damaging my leg in the process as i limped my way as far away as i could , i could hear their laughter but when i focused my hearing it change from what sounded as human to .... something very strange ... a odd kind of gargled sound that made my blood curdle and sent shivers down my spine ... i deplore anyone going to this bar to go with a friend as many as you can , and dont drink anything.. but the pizza is good

Finding a place to park is a challenge, found out later that the parking police stop watching the meters about 5 or 6 so don't worry about paying a meter. We parked up the hill and walked down to this little hidden gem. The night we went there they had a 5$ head charge for the bands "Mountain Sprouts" a must go out of your way band to see these. Walking to this mixing bowl of bikers, hippies, older folks, and everyone else there having a good time. We were able to get a spot upstairs to watch the show I would good place to people watch. Another good reason to go upstairs is the greatest pizza ever, After reading the reviews I keep reading best pizza, greatest pizza, well the jury has spoken and the judgment is for best pizza we ever had and prob ever will, we ordered the Athens, bend of olive oil and garlic, topped with spin black and green olives, red onion, and fresh tomato, with feta on top.

My friends took me Chelsea's during the Blues Festival and the place was rocking! We went there for lunch the first time..I had the most excellent Greek Gyro ($7) with lamb, beef, feta, onion, tomatos and a fantastic tzatziki sauce. But Chelsea's is well-known for their pizzas. They were Best Pizza in Arkansas runner-up last year. Didn't have a chance to try any but my friends always say it's the best and they live there! The music is great, lots of local talent come through..the dance floor is interesting as the original owner, a musician himself, is buried underneath. So one does actually 'dance on his grave' when they get out there! Chelsea's used to be a carriage house for the hotel's horses/carriages and one can imagine it as such. The little eating room upstairs was the livery people's living quarters. A cool place to hang out and meet the locals. Staff is fabulous and efficient..they treated me like I lived there! And I was told by one very sweet woman that she would be glad if I moved there..hmm..

I've decided that if Yelp truly reflects the tastes of it's members, there's no reason not to include ALL the great places you've frequented. Since I travel a lot for work, here I go. When I found myself in Eureka Springs, Arkansas for 2 and a half months last year, I wondered how I was going to entertain myself. It's a picturesque little mountain hippie and biker enclave, with a sprinkling of Jesus freaks and rednecks to amp the freak factor. Well, on my second night in town, I found myself winding halfway down a side street with probably an 80% grade, and found my home away from home: Chelsea's. Chelsea's is split up into a tiny bar area where you can watch TV, hit on the bartenders (some of them like it), play darts, and generally relax. There's a second much larger room with a balcony and a raised stage area where they have some of the best live music in town with an eclectic range of bands. This area has long common tables and benches, and a game area in a corner. This is also where, while sitting and watching a band, some drunk girl upstairs decided to pelt me and my pals with ice cubes and beer. So I'd say that strategically, don't sit directly under the balcony if possible. The other odd part of Chelsea's is the terrace. It was on this terrace on perhaps night 3, that I watched a fire on an adjacent mountain ridge burn an old hotel and neighboring trees in huge leaping flames against a sunset sky. One of the most terrifying, beautiful, and bizarre experiences I've ever had. And I had a beer in my hand at the time. Try the okra, too. It's like crack.
(4)Chip G.
This place is about as funky as it gets, and walking through all the cigarette smoke to get inside really sucked, and the guy who looked like he was crashing there full time was pretty sketchy... but this ranks as one of the two best pizza joints I've ever been to. Fantastic pie, creative toppings, reasonable prices. Never had a bad meal there.

after a couple of drinks at a neighboring restaurant, we followed my husband's keen nose in the direction of pizza, down a questionable stairway between even more questionable buildings, and suddenly we were in chelsea's. it was in the middle of the afternoon on a saturday, a band was playing, folks were dancing, and we knew we had found our spot for the rest of the afternoon. we ordered pizza and beer, and while we were finished with our first beers by the time the pizza arrived, holy moly was it worth the wait. when it comes to pizza in our house, nobody messes around. and this pizza? this was serious pizza. i think i actually said it was the best pizza i've ever had in my life. the crust was thinnish, bubbly at the edges, slightly sweet, perfectly floured, and was crispy at the tip of what was a very generous slice. that's right, no sagging, no sliding, just absolute perfection. hot bubbly cheese, not too little, not too much, oh.me .gawd. can we import this to kansas city?!? i will never drive into arkansas again without making a stop at chelsea's. ps- one bummer: smoking is allowed here, which is kind of weird after being in a city where it's banned in bars, but it's a small complaint for an otherwise great place
